February 2016 Group Art Show

February Art Show featuring artists Matt Fricovsky, Kathleen Kowalski and Andrea Kroenig with music by Tiphanie Doucet and Rachel Eli.

We’re happy to announce our latest art show. Featured this month are several of the area’s talented painters. All of their work is available for purchase.

The Artists

Matt Fricovsky
A successful NYC based sports & fitness portrait photographer, Matt’s been drawing and painting from a young age and had many exhibitions of his oil paintings.

Kathleen Kowalski
Kathleen considers Henri Matisse one of her biggest inspirations. Like many of his paintings, her artwork focuses on color and pattern. Kathleen is the founder of Art Fête, an at home painting party company.

Andrea Kroenig
“Opposites are key in my work in color and composition. Along with beauty or vibrant colors there are also melancholy, haunting qualities.”

Opening Night Party

Friday February 19, 2016 7:00PM – 9:00PM. Our kitchen will be open to serve you. This will be an alcohol-free celebration of the arts. Bring the kids!

Musical Entertainment
We’re thrilled to have singer/songwriter and prolific Hoboken busker Tiphanie Doucet on our li’l stage. “A beautiful angelic voice” is the main thing you hear about her. Born in Paris, she moved to New York to follow her dreams.

Also, we’re welcoming Tiphanie’s special guest Colorado native turned New Yorker Rachel Eli. Influenced by the likes of James Taylor, Paul Simon, Carole King, Carly Simon, Sondre Lerche, and Jenny Lewis, Eli writes soulful, melancholy melodies with heartfelt, honest lyrics.

Plus other surprise guests! Full disclosure here … we’re saying ‘surprise guests’ because we don’t know ourselves who will show up. It’s a little exciting. :0)

Supporting The Arts
As always, D’s does not take any money from our artists. Any proceeds from art or music sold go directly to them.
