Stacy is a singer‐songwriter born and raised in northern New Jersey. She is best known as the lead singer for the witty and original band Las Vandelays.
In a quest to discover her own voice, she likes to branch out from time to time and perform as a solo act, hitting the open mics and singer songwriter nights around the NJ/NYC area. Her songs, which reflect upon her personal life experiences, are written and delivered with a great deal of realness and emotion.
Her style can be described as acoustic folk but while playing with Las Vandelays she can be heard putting a fresh spin on old standards like “Besame Mucho” and “Girl from Ipanema” or adding a tropicalista flavor to tracks by the Beatles and Britney Spears, with an occasional country or Greek song thrown in just to throw you off balance.
