August 2012 Artist: Anneli Curnock

“Surrealism is destructive, but it destroys only what it considers to be shackles limiting our vision.” Salvador Dali

Jersey City-based abstract and surreal artist Anneli Curnock has dedicated herself to breathing brilliant life into the twisted images she creates. Doing so she hopes to give viewers an opportunity to feel and taste the movement of the dreams and premonitions she has experienced first hand. Anneli believes in letting go of the rules of painting and freeing the mind to achieve creative excellence.
