September 2012 Artist: Amy Bauer

Amy’s work is called ‘Conceptual Environmental’ which focuses on sustainability and goes a few steps beyond simple recycling.

Artist Amy Bauer’s work represents her eclectic style and urban surroundings. Her art is organic. From the materials she uses to the style in which she works. Amy’s art is done with a natural flow of traditional craft with an environmental twist.

Amy calls her work ‘Conceptual Environmental’. It focuses on disposability or sustainability. In other words; What to do with something after it has served it’s purpose. In simplest terms you can think of this as recycling, but a few steps more then just putting paper into a blue bin.
