September 2013 Artist: Mike Podhorzer

Mike Podhorzer’s macro and landscape photography is getting a lot of attention. We’re happy to have his work on our walls for September.

Mike Podhorzer grew up in Manalapan, NJ and after 26 wonderful years of suburban life, decided to move to beautiful Hoboken, where he currently resides. Mike would have never guessed that photography would be a part of his future. When he was younger, he used to go on annual family vacations and complain as his shutterbug parents would continually pull the car over to take photos of the stunning scenery being driven past. Then everything changed in 2008 when a business trip required Mike to travel to San Francisco, providing the motivation to purchase his very first camera. This event marked the beginning of his photographic journey.

Mike specializes in macro flower photography and nature landscape scenes. Although relatively new to the art scene, Mike has had his work displayed at a popular chain of tea cafes in New York City. View Mike’s entire photography portfolio by visiting his online gallery, Pod’s Pics, at www.PodsPics.com.
