Bernadette Malavarca (aka Bern) has performed solo-troubadour style and played in several groups, including post-punk trio Lullabi (singer-songwriter/vocals/electric guitar) and Howl (electric guitar). She currently fronts the indie-rock outfit (and multiple Hoboken Music Awards recipients) Bern & the Brights.
In her other life, she is a writer and editor, currently holding post at Backbeat Books, an imprint of Hal Leonard Corporation.
